Storm Eunice - how are you all doing?

Hey everyone,

It's pretty stormy in the UK today with Storm Eunice. It's so windy where I am! I'm planning to stay indoors today and watch some films after work. I have some cute fairy lights outside which I haven't been brave enough to rescue yet, but they haven't blown away just yet which is good news!

How are you all doing? What's the weather like where you are?
Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    hey aife!!

    its really windy here too - I have stayed inside today. I don't plan on braving the storm lmao. I am watching tv too, what films are you watching? Always like a good recommendation of new things to watch :) Luckily i live in a flat so I don't have any outside areas to worry about!

    Thank you for checking in, that's really kind of you, and I hope you're warm and safe today! I've had to go out to get some food for the rest of the week, it wasn't too bad luckily because I went around 5pm and the wind seemed to have died down a little where I am, but was really bad in the morning! How's your day been?

    Doing okay thanks! The winds are really loud where I am, which is a bit scary - especially after seeing some videos/news articles of damages across the country. I'm not planning to go anywhere until it calms down, hopefully by Monday. :/

    I stayed indoors too and was doing some cleaning and reading most of the weekend. What did everyone else get up to?

    @Jellyelephant I've just started watching This is Going to Hurt on BBC. It was a book that I really liked and they've made it into a tv show about the life of a Doctor. It's been really good, you might like it too. What have you been watching?

    I didn't get up to much really either, just watching tv and cleaning bits like you did. I have seen this is going to hurt too - I really enjoyed it but feel bad for the guy he is clearly traumatised. I preferred the book tbh but the show was alright too. I am watching trigger point about a bomb disposal unit it has vicky mcclure in :)

    It has still been a bit windy over the last few days but the worst of the weather is definitely over by now. I feel bad for areas that now have to deal with Storm Franklin straight after Storm Eunice.
