Hi everyone,
YoungMinds are asking all young people to join their open letter to the Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
In just a few weeks, they will be sending an open letter to him calling on him to #FundTheHubs - a network of early support hubs in every local area, that are easy to access with no appointment needed.
We wanted to share the opportunity here on the communtiy for any young person under the age of 25 to add their name to the open letter. If you're able to sign the letter today, please do so.
Here's a bit more information below:
Right now, Rishi Sunak is deciding how the Government will spend money for the next few years. His autumn budget could affect the mental health support that’s available for young people across the country.
YoungMinds Activists have written this letter to Rishi, urging him to fund vital early support hubs for young people - local, drop-in centres that provide free mental health support with no appointment or referral needed.
We need to show Rishi just how many young people agree that funding for early support hubs should be a priority for this Government.
If you are able to support, please do so today. Add your name if you are under 25 or if you are over 25 please share in your networks.
Here’s some copy for Twitter / Facebook / LinkedIn / Instagram. You can share directly from our channels as well.
If you’re under 25, sign this open letter, written by @YoungMindsUK Activists, to Rishi Sunak MP. It’s time the Government #FundTheHubs and provide more early mental health support to young people https://bit.ly/3n7wzyf

Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤
