Private Profile: Private profiles can only be viewed by authorized users.

This is a great question. We posted an update a while back about the private profiles feature and we've been meaning to post an official one in the Start Here section of the community.
This setting privatises your profile to everyone except moderators and community managers. Your posts will be seen by other people, it's only your profile page that is hidden.
