Support our loneliness campaign, offer your wisdom, and help people struggling with loneliness by taking part in our new video project 100 People's Tips To Combat Loneliness!

Check out our last "100 People" video about how to deal with isolation during lockdown. :)

Sounds great! What do I do?

Record a quick 2-15 second video of a tip for combatting loneliness and send it in to The Mix. Have fun with it - your tip can be anything you want! If possible, film horizontally (landscape).

To submit your video, send it to video.submit@themix.org.uk and copy and paste the below appearance release agreement into your email. We'll let you know if we received your submission within a few days. The best way to send your video is to either attach it to your email or use a WeTransfer link.

The submission deadline is February 15th.

If you want to take part, use this template to send us an email with your submission:

I hereby authorize THE MIX to record and edit into the Video Project “100 People's Tips To Combat Loneliness” and related materials my name, likeness, image, voice and participation in and performance on video.

I agree that the project may be edited and otherwise altered at the sole discretion of THE MIX, and used in whole or in part for any and all broadcasting, non-broadcasting, audio/visual, and/or exhibition purposes in any manner or media, in perpetuity, throughout the world.

THE MIX may use and authorize others to use all or parts of the Video Project. THE MIX, its successors and assigns shall own all right, title and interest, including copyright, in and to the Video Project, including my recording, to be used and disposed of without limitation as THE MIX shall in its sole discretion determine.

Would love to. When does it need to be done by?
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley
