What have you been up to?
How was School?
Ooo what type of music do you listen to?
Oh so today was your last day?
Oh I love metal! Everyone loves pop apart from me. I also listen to folk music.
I love Cara Dillon and Metallica, what about you?
Now I'm watching the sun rise.
It's 6:25am here!
You? @Apollo
The sun rises earlier in Scotland than it does in England or Wales because Scotland is more northern.
In summer the sun rises earlier and sets earlier and in winter it rises and sets later, the earth spins at an angle from its centre, and as it rotates around the sun, this angle changes the way the sun hits the earth.
@lovemimoon just a fact I find interesting and why the sun rose for me hours ago
So since you're in the northern hemisphere, you're more likely to experience snow and such, right?
The sun is always more prevalent in the centre of the earth. Thats why the equator is so warm, and why places like Spain, Brazil and Ethiopia are warmer than the UK, they're closer to the equator and further from the Poles.
The poles get less heat and sunlight which is why they're cold and get snow, this is why north Canada is frozen over and very cold but the South Pole is too. Its not about how northern or southern a place is its about how close that place is to the poles/how far it is from the equator.
So Scotland is slightly more likely to get snow than the rest of the UK, but its not because its in the northern hemisphere, all of the UK is, just because its a little further from the equator
Sorry if I sound like a proper smart alec here cause to be honest I'm only 90% sure I'm right
Had to cancel my hospital appointment today and I've been sent on a wild goose chase to book a different day
