    Good morning all.

There has been a lot going on around here so just giving this a bump for distractions sake.

How are we all? I'm washing the sofa blankets today, the dog is gonna go nuts because he can't get on sofa.

There are soooo many threads pinned in whats new this took me ages to find but here I am🤣

    hey @independent_ how are you?

the weather today is great for getting washing done!! im in college because i am trying to be a productive queen at the library lol i am planning to finish off my sociology stuff this morning then take a wee walk (30 ish mins) to the other campus to get my steps up and to take a break from screens for a bit to go to the library there - the walk also has such pretty views!!

@shannon_164 that sounds lovely! I love a nice walk, I need to get one in at some point today.

I'm doing ok, woke up feeling sick but for some reason coffee helped? Not a scooby what that's about. I need to somehow get the doggo to give up his seat on the sofa so I can get the blankets off

@shannon_164 mission success! It took a long time and a few “Theo! Theo! Come on theo I have to wash your sofa” but eventually he got down onto the floor and I managed to get the blankets in the wash. They should be done in about an hour and I can hang them on the line before 12 which should hopefully mean they get dry in good time and he can get back on his favourite seat.

I always wash dog stuff separately to everything else, but as soon as i put that wash on dad asked me to also wash the cushion covers off the sofa. Tbf they are a load of washing on their own so I can get away with putting them on after the blankets.

And hopefully with it being a bit breezy today hanging them on the line will get any remaining hairs off everything.

@eylah same here. Always tired. Is this just what adulthood is meant to be like!

Hope you’re able to get some rest at some point.

Being an adult is just a cycle - sleep, wake up tired, work, eat, do all the chores, sleep, still wake up tired!

Kind of is sometimes but being a kid is probably not much better, get up go to school putting up with annoying teachers then coming home pottentially homework then bed and you have rules because you're "a child" loool. Being an adults more freedom and all that but yh unfortunately that cycle happens. Just got to find time and find stuff we enjoy same for adults and kids I guess.

i managed to make the journey to the other college campus even though i was super anxious about actually coming to a different library, but omg it’s sooo quiet at this library like everyone actually sits in silence and if talking, talks quietly!!! my college campus library is honestly like sitting in a coffee shop or something because it’s so loud😩but anyways here’s some pictures from the walk because it’s a pretty little walk hehe:

@Redemption that is very true. I do not miss school much. In fact I don’t really miss being a kid, there are certain aspects I miss like not having to make big decisions, but at least now I am in control of my life - no matter how hard that is at times.

@shannon_164 omg glad you enjoyed your walk. Wow the first rule of libraries I ever learned was you have to be quiet in a library no matter what. Do some people just not learn this? :joy:

it appears some people do not learn this - last week when i went to a public library i felt like i was at funky monkeys instead as it certainly did not resemble a library - kids screaming and firing lego at people? i get kids can be noisy n that is totally ok, but in a library? no!! i was grateful for those who were actively telling their kids about how you need to be quiet in a library and loud voices are for outside etc but some were literally encouraging their kids to run mad - the weather was amazing and there’s a massive green area across the road and also a massive play park about 40 seconds further soooo maybe go there instead lol
