I've noticed that I don't always get alerts on threads. Especially when I'm quoted 

Is thus normal?

    Yeah. There are no alerts for quotes. I think it was like an unwritten rule or maybe written somewhere to tag someone when you quote them. Sometimes I Dont get notifications when I'm tagged as well tho. Not sure why on sometimes that don't work and sometimes that does. But yeah quotes Dont work at all

    That's correct @Salix_alba_2019 - there's no notification mechanism for quoting. Like @Shaunie says, we tried to make it a soft rule that people tag when they quote to make sure people are notified. You can do that by adding an @ to the name in the quote (as above), or just in the post itself. :)

    Yeah just sometimes doesn't work. (I know sometimes someone tags you they might not do it right with the link to your account may not show up and then Dont get notification but I always check if the link to my profile worked and sometime it does but just didn't get notification.) Obviously works more times than it doesn't though but yeah it's fine just small thing

    Interesting @Shaunie. I wonder if sometimes people edit your tag to fix it, so it looks right when you check it, but because it wasn't right originally maybe it doesn't notify?

    How often do you find it happens?

    I don't get notifications for being tagged in threads. My settings are so I should I believe.
