For those not familiar with the world of film and film awards, the academy release
the Oscar nominations
in advance of the actual awards (which are this Sunday). Last year, we had a competition to see who could predict the awards most accurately and it turned out to be pretty fun, so we're doing it again!
I've picked 10 big award categories and left out the
ones that are more for film geeks (best editing, best sound mixing,
etc). Here are the ones we'll try and predict, with the nominations
below each one (with spoiler warnings so this post isn't ridiculously
long):

PS, the plan was to ask one of you guys if you wanted to run this but time totally ran away with us, so I decided to post it for speed given we only have a few days until the awards.
