Has anyone heard of this? Basically, it's a competition to see how long you can last throughout December without hearing the original version of Last Christmas by Wham.

I made the mistake this weekend of putting Magic's 24 hour Christmas radio on in the car this weekend, and I kid you not, the first song that came on was Last Christmas. 7 days did beat my personal best though. 

It did get me thinking though that we should have our own version of this, so if you haven't been playing already, let's see who gets the furthest from now!

    I'm honestly gutted that I lost this challenge at the weekend visiting Winchester xmas market :( But 11 days has been my longest run so far!

    Yep, I've survived so far too! It helps that I don't watch Christmas tv and haven't really been out in shops.

    If need be, I'll just lock myself up in an old cottage in the middle of nowhere wearing very high quality ear protection. I'm determined to win this...

    Does it count if someone at work plays it down the staff Walkie talkies and you have no choice but to listen because you can't turn the Walkie talkies off incase an emergency comes through and you have to leg it to another room?

    I'm afraid it does GreenTea :anguished: this feels like a particuarly brutal trip to Whamhalla, you couldn't even enjoy the tune through decent audio. As a way of making up for this travesty, here is the music video that has been remastered into 4k. At least you can enjoy George Michael in all his HD glory :lol:

    @Ed_ I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE HEART XMAS ON IT WAS JUST FREE RADIO !  My niece loves the song so I couldn’t even turn it off.

    They were playing Christmas music while we were having our Christmas lunch, but I am still in the game! I don't know if I just didn't hear it or it wasn't played but still 🤷😂
