Origami!

Former MemberFormer Member ☕🌻☕MidlandsPosts: 12,938 Born on Earth, Raised by The Mix
Hello lovely mixers!

I've recently really enjoyed origami! It gives me something to focus on and I really do enjoy it! My questions to you are:

1) have you ever tried origami?
2) what's the best thing you made?
3) can you share a toturial?

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Tea☕

Origami is good fun! Used to do it, not so much any more though, but maybe something I'll pick up in time :)

I once wanted to fold 1,000 origami cranes but only got to 253, I still like to fold a crane every now and again  =)

My favourite one is the frog because you can make it jump so it's great fun

A few years ago, I wrote one good thing that happened each day onto a strip of paper and folded it into an origami star. At the end of the year I opened the jar and got to read all of my highlights of the year :)

I tried to do this last weekend and it completely failed. Planning to give it another go soon - the dinosaurs look pretty awesome.

Also that's such a wonderful idea @Past User!

The dinosaur @GreenTea, but I quickly realised my sheet of paper was far too small...

I can do it with small paper haha. Do it with A4 and then cut it down into the square

I need a little more practice as I keep forgetting the steps 😂 haven’t made one of these in ages. Once I remember how to do it properly I’ll try my best to do a tutorial or at least find the tutorial I learned it from.
