Hey everyone,

I hope you're all enjoying the sunny weather this bank holiday weekend! :star:

I was just wondering what you've all been up to this weekend and if you have anything nice planned for the bank holiday today? 


Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

    There's a cider festival at the pub on the river so gonna go down this evening. Bit of live music, cider and sunset over the river

    That sounds really nice @GreenTea. I'm sure it's going to be a really great sunset this evening. 

    It's been so hot this weekend @*BananaMonkey*! I think it's going to be even hotter tomorrow! 

    @Millie2787 that's so pretty! Love the design and purple and green colours you've chosen. Purple is the best colour! Did it take long to do?

    Today I helped my parents to set up our new paddling pool. And I listened to a toddler having a really loud temper tantrum  (the toddler was 5 houses down!) Yesterday I went swimming, down water slides, had a lovely lunch, ate cookies and when I got home I had angel delight (chocolate.) On Saturday I went dog walking and to a barbecue. During the dog walking I got really muddy shoes. We didn't know that the path would be muddy. At least I had lots of fun. Here is a picture of my muddy shoes. 😂

    @aife of course purple is the best colour !! I think I might have to get my nails done purple tomorrow! The colour will only last today it’s just temporary glitter glue type thing . Umm took the lady about 15/20 minutes but the smell is horrendous right now

    Everyone sounds like they have had so much fun!

    I haven't done much as I agree with @*BananaMonkey* in that it's so warm!

    On Saturday I got my new baby lizard, which has made the weekend to be honest, he's so adorable! But I have mostly spent it catching up on the TV that I missed while on holiday and being productive, getting thing's sorted for college next week. :)

    I'm glad to hear you had lots of fun @Kasa2103! Your shoes are so muddy! 

    Very jealous of your new paddling pool! I really want one of those! It would be perfect for this hot weather. 

    @Millie2787 Ooh no! Hopefully the smell gets a bit better! Purple is a great choice for your nails! You'll have to send us a photo of them after :).

    @Aife definitely! I’m getting them done early morning and I got brownies aswell got Oreo cookie dough kit Kat caramel M&M and smarties

    @Aife it's really nice, they have a big beer garden over looking the river etc and it's literally 2 minutes walk from my house so going is really convenient!!

    @Past User aw that's so cute you got a baby lizard! Have you given him a name yet? 

    Haha lol. It was so hard to get all the mud off them. Ended up using sandals that are a size too big to go to the shops afterwards. I almost always get muddy or at least covered in dog hair when I go on a dog walk. Something even funnier was that I wore a mask to help me breathe whilst waiting for food during the barbecue. It felt too hot to sit inside. It was like one of those dust masks.

    @Millie2787 yumm sounds lovely! Are you going to do some baking this weekend? If you are, you better post some to The Mix HQ! 

    @GreenTea your living in the perfect location! So great they have live music too! I haven't been up to too much this weekend. On Saturday I went to the beach which was so nice! Then this evening I think for dinner I might make a picnic and go to the park with my sister :). 

    @Kasa2103 ooh no! I hope you can wear your shoes again soon. Sounds like a nice BBQ! Did you have anything nice?

    Bank holiday are like any normal day of the week: food shopping, driving theory and washing! Yay the fun. 

    You all seem to have some really nice day planned out hope they bring a smile to your face if they can

    Yeah I did. I had a cheeseburger, chicken skewers, sausages, a baguette, cheese roll and lots of orange juice.

    @Past User Bertie is a very cute name and he is the cutest lizard! 

    @Millie2787 I'll have to remind him about that! I tried gluten-free bread the other day and it was disgusting! 

    @Abigail I hope the driving theory prep is going okay. Enjoy the rest of your day today :).

    I went to an outdoor cinema yesterday :) watched the greatest showman it was so good and we took my nephew he loved it haha. Everyone was singing along it was so fun and only cost £1 to go. 
    The sun will rise and we will try again

    @Aife you sure will  me and Dorina have been waiting very long for his cake😂 ohhh yess there’s only a few breads I like the warbatons sourdough loaf is nice but my god GF crumpets are horrible 😬

    Saturday I met up with a friend and done CPR training 😊 then went over to N's for a movie night, Sunday just chilled and been working today..
