Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

I know I should be happy that I’ve come away with merits in both my subjects but I’m not becuase it means I didn’t do any better in my resits for Child development. I didn’t even get a pass equivalent to the level course I’m doing :( The grade boundaries were so slow for the exam aswell I only had to get 22 to get a Pass but couldn’t even manage that and ended up with a L1 pass when I’m on a level 2 . All I can say is thank god for coursework 🙃

I'm sorry to hear how you're feeling about your results @Millie2787. It can be really tough not getting the results you were hoping for. How are you feeling about everything?

Hmmm I’m not sure but this means I won’t be able to go onto and do L3 Children’s , play and learning as the teacher said if I got a L1 pass in the exam again there wouldn’t be much point doing her course as exams make up a lot of the course so I think i will have to do the L3 that my other subject was in which is Health and social care - but I have course confirmation on Tuesday and I’ve just been spending the day drawing to try and keep my Mind off it all 😂

I am definitely freaking out about taking my GCSE's in year 11. We do pre-mocks in year 9, the actual mocks in year 10 and the actual thing in year 11. Pre-mocks is just to see what subjects are best for you.

    Hey @Kasa2103

Although exams can be a scary prospect, it is important to remember that they are not the be all and end all. As the picture posted by Aife says, many people are very successful without having any GCSE's. All you can do is try your best and then you should be proud of yourself regardless of the results that follow. Therefore, try not to worry!

I haven't done gcse's yet, but I'm still scared.. (I'm in year 9). I know I have a long way, but it's still something I think about from time to time... My sister got her results yesterday, but I don't know what she got, but she seemed happy with them.
I hope your proud of yourselves! 💙
Have a good day. And good luck to anyone starting gcse's soon. 👍
