On a scale of 1 to 10 how awkward was it when you had ‘the talk’?

Hey everyone,

We all have to learn the truth about the birds and the bees at some point in our lives, but the way we learn about it varies from person to person. Even though it may not have been the first time we heard about sex, many of us have experienced the ‘the talk’ from a parent or older sibling.

On a scale of one to ten how awkward was it when you had ‘the talk’ and was it actually helpful when you had sex?

I look forward to hearing your stories!

Only about 3 if I'm honest.

We're a very laidback family and so there was no beating around the bush ect.
My sister gave me the talk and I thank her for my sexual health and contraception knowledge these days that I use to help others.

You can have a very effective talk if you both take it seriously and don9get embarrassed(easier said than done though haha)
