Young holidaymakers are snubbing traditional British seaside resorts as being uncool, a study has revealed.
Up to 60 per cent of under-30s feel towns such as Bognor Regis, Torbay and Llandudno have become unfashionable, with just two per cent watching Punch and Judy and three per cent going on donkey rides.
However, the Lake District, North Devon and Cornwall - the leading hols destination - remain popular.
Teletext Holidays, which did the poll, said: "There is so much to choose from when you look for a UK holiday."
