Following a raised point inLook but don't touch!

Where I suggested:
From a girl's point of view I'm not exactly sure why we're shy about our bodies ... it could be underlying psychological barriers in the feminine brain following centuries of demands being put on our physical appearance (as well as behaviour) by society.

I just wondered if anyone else had ideas about this?

Can you delve further into my attempt at a psychological explanation - I don't take psychology but I'm truly fascinated by it - or are there other possible explanations?

Also, let's hear from the guys here ... do you worry about your bodies too?

luv
