I am a secondary 6 student and will soon, if fortunately, promote to university. I have been thinking which course I should take - chemistry-based one or translation?

Frankly, I would love to further my study or even immigrate to the UK in the sooner future. Which subject should I take?

At university you'll be studying one thing for 3-5 years, so first and foremost in my opinion: pick a course you'll find fun, something you have a deep passion for, something that when work is given you go it not because you're told to do it, but because you want to do because it's interesting to do. So my advice would be - whiever subject you'll enjoy the most!
