Teacher Training Funding

I'm looking to leave full time work to train to become a teacher; however its in a subject that doesn't attract a bursary. Any funding suggestions other than student finance?? I will be teaching fitness classes part time and could possibly squeeze in another part time job but I don't want to be so tired that I can't concentrate on my training...

    Hey WhiteLillies

Sorry we didn't pick this up earlier - have you had any luck so far?

There are a few different types of financial help available for teacher training, depending on your situation.

I can see that squeezing in another part time job might help fund your training, however it's also important that you don't work yourself too hard. As you say, you wouldn't want to be too tired for your training

Let us know how you get on :)
