Right I got my euros today...

With £250 - £200 for travellers cheques and £50 for euros cash

I got 250 euros travellers cheques and 95 euros cash.

Does this seem right or have I been ripped off?

    Help!

the exchange rate is shite. when i went to london in april i changed €250 and got about £150. shiiiiiiite. hate the fucking euros. made everything a million times dearer. stop me before i blow up. :banghead:

and the 1 cents are fucking tiny! they're useless. you just throw em away!

    [/illogical rant]

sorry, don't know the rate. :)

Bad time to buy currency, 1 Euro is currently £0.69. I bought mine for my holiday in July ages ago, so I got it at about £0.62, it really does mean a lot, honest! :p

But I do dislike the Euro, the coins and notes are ok, just the idea.

1 euro is about 60/70p and 10 euro is £6, 20 euro £12...depends on the exchange rate for that day though, have a good time on your holiday anyway.

£50 to E95 is 1.9 euros to the pound. That seems a bit high... Although £200 to E250 is 1.25 euros to the pound, which seems quite low...
