I think the best thing to do (not that I know much about your situation, eg. how old are you?) is to stay in school - that way, you'll have the grades you need to survive if nothing else works out. They last longer than boyfriends (has to be said, sorry!), and so does your family. I think you'd regret leaving your family and school later in life. You'd be missing a chance you'll not have again. Please don't run away or anything, you can stick this out and in a year it's likely to get better. Good luck!

This is the first day of the rest of your life.

You could try the whole....Look im gonna leave if you don't treat me normally andd then keep your fingers crossed it works...

If not....work with it!! it can't last long, i know it never does with me and mum but then again my dad never says anything he does the SILENCE job on me!!!

Exactly what I would advise you to do Miss_K. I would never advise anyone to go and live with their boyfriend, when you break up or have problems which are going to make it uncomfortable to live together, what then?

My best friend started to choose her university based on where her boyfriend lives, convinced she'd be able to live with him during the term. Now she's split up with him (after six months) but I dread to think what would have happened if she'd been living with him....

i was convinced i was still going to be with my first boyfriend at uni, we visited them together and made loads of plans and stuff, and cardiff was both of our first choices. but, we broke up last december, so that just goes to show... and we applied to all the same unis (luckily they were ones i wanted to go to, he didnt seem to mind... strange boy). but now his first choice is southampton, for the sailing coz he loves boats and stuff, and now im hoping he gets to go there so i dont have to go to uni with him.... so while your relationship may seem strong at the mo miss k, dont count on it, dont sacrifice everything to be with him, the chances are you'll regret it later.

do what everyone's said so far, stay in school, try and work it out with your family and just think to yourself, you only have to last another year and then you can get out and have freedom and you wont have to put up with it any more.

you can do it good luck.
