the world is going mad

i've just been watching the news and i have concluded we have arrived at the mad age. Asia appears to be self destructing - religious arguments, fighting in delhi, bin laden gloating about killing thousands and noth korea and china remain suspiciously quiet. in europe the french continue to be hell bent on pissing us off, and here peadophiles and people driving asleep. So in the face of a volatile situation worldwide, george bush chooses this precise time to piss off the russians ! well people i'm a bit concerned about matters

Yep the worlds going to hell and theres gonna be one hell of a big war in the near future.

PS, Bush hasnt pissed off the Russians..They are fine with the ending of the ABM treaty. They say it wasnt unexpected but they think its a mistake for the US. They also say that the US pulling out of the treaty poses no threat to Russia.

emmm, possibly - thats the official comment anyway !we must bear in mind that it is the russians and i'm still quite suspicious of putin although he has impressed me so far. I'm just a little concerned about the timing on another day i would of passed me by ! i'm still not sure on bush either at first he worried me, then i think he has done a superb job over the terrorism thing, now he seems to be going back to his old ways of considering america more important than the world still at least he likes us now

Its his job to consider the US more important than the rest of the world. He is the president of the USA you know. He was elected to look after the interests of US citizens not those of foreign nations.

Every country on earth puts its on citizens ahead of those from foreign countries.

Besides, they probably thought they would just add it onto the large list of recent fuckups. One more thing cant make the world any worse. Its going downt the shitter anyway.

The New Axis is forming...US + Russia...who will be next? Will the ol pirate kingdom and France be irrelevant? Times be changing...middle East oil may stay in the ground if cheaper Russian and Afgan oil are to be had...interesting times we live in indeed.

yeah i see your point, but it still seems he believes its one rule for america and one for the rest, the environment thing for example ! i have no problem with him ensuring america gets the best scenarios from world affairs BUT is it not similar decisons which result in some of the hatred aimed at america and hence can have negative results for the citizens he is protecting ? ignoring the rest of the world in favour of his countries well-been could backfire
