    My father who went by thanatos and me who went by thanatos-jr both got ban from this site for our view on homosexuality. We fooled the system and got back on. Now they have reban him who was posting as berzerker. I wanted to know why, since he will not return our emails

    BBH, I`m sorry bout u and ure dad getting banned.
    The way I see it, this place is for discussion of topics and expression of opinions. If someone can`t handle yours and your dads opinions on homosexuality then they shouldn`t read them.
    Everyone has a right to an opinion and everyone has a right to express it, and if other people can`t handle the heat then they should get out of the kitchen.
    I`ve seen opinions here I don`t particularly like (I don`t completely agree with your views on homos either) but i`m big enough to accept that your opinion differs from mine and I actually find it quite interesting reading opinions that are different from my own, helps me approach things from a different direction.
    Anyway, good luck getting ure dad back on (and staying on yourself)

    BBH, if you have emailed Dom then you will know perfectly well from an autoreply that he is out of the office today.

    We don't like banning people, but if they are so abusive to other users then we don't have much choice. You were not banned because of your opinions, you were banned due to the offensive and hateful way that you expressed them.

    And as for playing silly games, we don't have time for stuff like that at TheSite.

    Well Karla, we have both emailed Dom several times trying to work out our differences and we have never gotten a reply. We just seem to get ban and ignored

    Oh, but of course we go around all the time calling minority groups fdeeply offensive names. Maybe its different in 'Romania', but think about things for a minute- go ona website and call black people niggers, asians pakis, or romanies gyppos, and you will be banned. Why should homosexuality be any different?

    Dont abuse people and you will stay. Otherwise go away.

    Folks, we don't speak the same language...really, it's true. Heck, I was banned a while back for using what I thought was a totally harmless ter,, wog...then brought up a subject, regarding the breeding of slaves...once important in england and US...but before I could get back the next day I was banned....

    I personally know Thanatos & thanatos-jr...on older X Marine (if you can ever be X anything) and his son, a young Marine dedicated to the Service of his choise. They have opinions...good solid US opinions which are not PC and which might offend...makes for an interesting conversation if you don't agree but there is no harm done.

    I could go on but it's your board and you can make is 'proper' and 'fit' and you can define the terms...but whatever you do, please don't let it become just another boring politically correct pile of dreck.

    We are in your living room, we came to visit...and we haven't forgotten our shared history...some of which got really interesting more than a few times.

    Diesel & BBH, I don't think that it is views which have got people banned, but how they are presented.

    D, you have openly supported the IRA, which in this country is considered a terrorist organisation - have you been banned for that? Hardly a PC viewpoint is it?

    With regards BBH & his father, again the language which was used, caused the ban. Others (including Balddog) supported their views but voiced them so as not to deliberately cause offence. Balddog (as the example) hasn't been banned.

    At present you can vilify Muslims, but look at the Saddam thread and you'll get an idea of what is not acceptable. It's not the view that is questioned, but the terms used to support that view.

    i agree with man of kent...everyone here can have their own opinion but it isnt fair when it hurts/upsets/concerns other people. Especially with things like the IRA and the WTC. People have lost friends and family due to these people and its not fair to 'brag' on a board where community spirit is high (though i am beginning to wonder sometimes). If you cant post more sensitively and thoughtfully then i agree with man of kent.

    Sorry if i offended but the admins are there to prevent us getting out of control. the people on the other end of the computers are human and have feelings to so have same compassion and just do what your told, it prevents alot of hassle...can we have this post closed, its causing bad vibes and it shouldnt have been created...it was between BBH and Dom.
