    Worse?

How so? Clinton is a self serving traitorous dog...Bush actually cares for America. Seeing him at the WTC yesterday with his arm round that fireman, you could see how much he felt for his people.

He may not be the sharpest tool in the box but he loves America..Hes not going to be making all the decisions himself, they have a lot of advisors and congress to keep the presidents in check.

I think hes shown that hes not the gung-ho maniac people said he was because he hasnt retaliated yet. It doesnt look like he will until hes sure of the attackers.

I wish people would stop ragging on bush...Hes a good man, he loves the US and hes got a pair.

Clintons just a whiney little PC bitch merchant who would sell his soul for a little publicity..In fact Afghanistan is probably fully rearmed with arms and equipment supplied by the Chinese who bought the stuff off Clinton.

It was after all Clinton who lobbed cruise missles at Bin Laden last time. It was Clinton who oversaw the criminal actions throughout the Balkans and kept up the bombings of iraq...Just why is he better than Bush?

Because Bush openly admitted (tho not in quite these words) that he didn't really care about america foriegn policy. Bevause although he may well love america he thinks far too much of it and doesn't give a damn about any other country. Bevause he has his head stuck too far up his arse, and because when he read his (complete and utter bullshit) speech on the attacks it was too obvious that they weren't his words.

    Mindless,

What are you referring to when he said he didnt care about foreign policy?

You are complaining that the President thinks too much of his own country? Isnt that his job? He doesnt give a damn about any other country? Well what government does?

RE his speech..You are incredibly naive if you think any leaders of any country always write their own speeches..These people arent elected for their creativity..They have speech writers to ensure they sound all deep, meaningful and clever.

Clinton would have used this as an opportunity to do the minimum possible, and to increase his own visibility and image. But real accomplishments? There wouldn't have been any, just as there were none in Clinton's administration.

Will Bush do better? We shall see, but it's hard to imagine him doing worse.

Well..... I believe that England has pledged to help america..... as well as all the other countries of NATO. And the countries who joined in the fight against Germany in WW2. I seem to remeber America only came along at the end. America have one of the worst records for foriegn policy in the western world.

I dind't say they did. I said Bush made it TOO obvious. When Blair spoke in Brighton he was close to tears (not that i'm saying I like Blair or anything). Bush just looked blank and empty of emotion.

And examples of not caring about, or having bad, foriegn policy....
He wants to build a massive missile shield which will badly endanger britain.
He did not sign the kioto treaty and claims that global warming is non existent.
He refuses to trade with Cuba.
    He backs Isreal.
He sells weapons to countries so they can kill a load of innocent people (so do Britain).

Funny..Their UN record and the billions they spend yearly in foreign aid would seem to suggest otherwise.
Bush just looked blank and empty of emotion

Erm, Bush had tears in his eyes..It was a major story in the papers and on the news about how emotional he was.

Missile Shield - Thats your opinion, many disagree

Kyoto - Sorry but have we signed up? Last time I checked only ONE European nation had signed Kyoto.

Refuses to trade with Cuba - Dont quite see the problem here? Surely a nation can choose who whether they trade with communists or not.

He backs Israel - Surely that is in contrast with your statement that he doesnt care about other nations.

Weapons sales - blanket generalisation and applies to just about every major nation in the history of the world

I agree with Balddog on this one. I think Bush will make the right decision whatever he does because he has the thoughts of his people in mind. I think he is a good president. I cried when i saw him at the service to rememeber those who died because he was holding his fathers hand and it made him appear so human just like everyone else.
My useless 2 pence of thought just hit the bottom of the tub so i'll shut up now!!!!

Clinton huh? So your saying the answer is to fire off a few tomahawk missles and hope for the best? Sure worked for the last 8 years and they really learned their lesson. Sorry dipshit but you are way off. Clinton caused more of this than you can imagine. His forgien policy is what did most of this.

Liberal ignorance really is bliss, isn't it? Hopefully now you will pull your head out of your ass and realize the truth
