I've got myself into a sticky situation! I suspect I've applied through the clearing proccess TOO LATE meaning I'll do more time at college.
I originally intended to leave the three year Graphics course at year one and continue studying the other two years at uni. However, with the uni rumoured to be full I'll either have to endure these two years alone and meet my college mates (who've been accepted onto my desired course) on year three of the four year uni course or do an alternative subject to kill time and start in the first year come '04.
Confused? Me too. The problem is everyone I socialise with is leaving at college whilst the people who I don't get on with are staying, if one of my friends WERE to stay then I wouldn't be kicking up a fuss. I try to be strong and tell myself I can hack it alone, truth is it's easier said than done. Wasting two years as an outcast isn't appealing in the slightest!
The course I'm thinking of taking up to kill time (so to speak!) is Broadcasting Studies which lasts a year. I fear if I start the uni course at year one I may not get on with anyone and the wait will NOT have been worth it! Basically, I'm stuck no matter what I do.
Anyone got any advice?
