You probably know in the US we have state laws and federal laws. Well, in California, if a transgender person applies to your company, you can't refuse to hire him (or her) for wearing a dress..if he's a man..or wearing men's clothes...if she's a woman.

What do you think? This applies to school teachers too.

    I fucking don't care what they wear, as long as they do what they're paid to do properly.

    I think they should make men wear dresses if they want to run for political office.

    BTW PNJ it's about equality. If the person can do the job, does it matter what clothes they wear - provided safety considerations are taken...

    More California laws. (And in this case, since California is the size of Sweden, these laws will impact on all of our school books.)

    "Founding Fathers" deleted...sexist

    Photos of the monument in North Dakota with the heads of the presidents carved into it. deleted...might offend Native Americans.

    "God" deleted...separation of state and church don'tchaya know.

    "Christopher Columbus discovered America." deleted...he made Europeans aware it was here...Native Americans were already here.
