    Eefs - I flew Bristol-Dublin-Bristol a couple of years ago, and it took 40 minutes each way on the Shamrock.

    As an example of the price - on Ryanair from DUB to Bristol on, say, August 20 and returning on the 21st, it'll cost about 38 Euros (including tax) if you book now. There is a regular bus service from the airport to the central coach station.

    It takes around 12 hours from Dublin to Birmingham on Eurolines, and you'd have to connect in Birmingham to Bristol (aboard National Express) which is about 2 hours. So it'd take around 14 or 15 hours from Dublin to Bristol by coach.

    Honestly I really would love to go but having a hubby who works long hours and a Daughter theres no way i could make it :(

    The thing is even if I went Id have to have a few drinks before I met anyone because in *Real life* im terribly shy :D

    Nah I wont leave her with just anyone and even if she could stay with my sis id have to take a 2 hr bus journey to get her there, then have her picked up by 8:00am the next morning, so virtually impossible for me :(

    Right i'll put me down as a definite cause i want to see bristol and the uni. Tell me a cheap hotel/motel and the time/date/venue and i'll be there!
