GO AND VOTE ON MAY 2

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
...because if you don't the bnp might just get a council seat. It's apathy thta lets them in: if you live somewhere where they're campaigning you HAVE to vote. (I'm assuming there's noone on here who would actually out a cross next to a far right candidate?)

I dunno, their policies of execution for blacks, jews and gays appeal to me. Can you tell me more?

Does anyone's area have BNP candidates? There are quite a few of them in London and in some London boroughs they are actually quite popular. You will not be surprised if you have a chance to walk around those areas...

How did you manage that? Did you forget to register? REmember you MUST be on the electoral register to vote.

I am rather worried about thesite's daily poll today. There were several instances of people saying they would vote BNP. Strangely, not a single person wanted to vote Lib Dem at the time I looked.

a pissing joke that currency is
good well thought out view I take it....

Kermit your ideas considering immigration are the product of a retarded brain, try and defend them if you can........

The part about "Why we are against mixed race relationships" is a big fat joke.

Of course it is...The whole page is extremely cleverly worded to appear less extreme.

They do have quite a few decent policies that I agree with though.

I like their policies on Transport, Trade & Industry, the environment and the EU, and I support increased spending on defence but I don't like the idea of leaving NATO and their racism is something I could live without.
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Well I have been reading it as I am interested. The policies which seem good are no more than vague ideas-"our idea is that of a clean, beautiful country" er yeh but How???? And the others ones suck quite frankly.
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Only the health and transport and environment bits looked any use and they are fairly standard, they are retards and thats the end of it.....

the bnp have a lot of good policies? what, like these - all available on their rather terrifying website?
apart from the obvious asylum/immigration/repatriation stuff:

corporal punishment for petty criminals

capital punishment

withdrawal from the EU

excluding foreign imports - any economist will tell you that's suicide

cut fuel tax and 'say no pollution' - not sure how that'll work

no international aid to 3rd world

end to peace process in ulster

withdrawal from NATO!

no mixed race relationships

'restore discipline to the classroom' - I suspect that means corporal punishment in schools

ban on foreign ownership if british media

pro-national service

ban on 'public promotion and shows of homosexuality'

they are totally irredeemable. Not only are many of their policies morally indefensible: they also display a lack of anything remotely resembling an understanding of economics. They do NOT, balddog, have a lot of good policies. They are - and I use this word after careful consideration - nutters.

I support increased spending on defence
why?
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Toadborg, look where I live. Thatll give you an idea why I am intolerant of a lot of immigrants.

I am gonna get slaughtered as being racist for this, but, despite what the BBC said, the riots last summer in Bradford the ethnic population in Bradford. I know 99% of non-whites are good, decent people, so dont dare call me a racist, but the fact of the matter is that every time something like that happens it is always seen as being teh whites' fault, and everyone immediately screams 'racist'. Its exactly the same in Oldham, Burnley, and so on.

I wouldnt ever vote BNP, because I dont agree with their policy regarding immigration, but I feel the immigration laws need to be tightened drastically. It is practically an open door into thsi country, and a lot of immigrants are, obviously, economic migrants. I dont balme them for doing it, I would do the same in their shoes, but the fact is that there is enough unemployment in this country without adding to it with a large influx of economic migrants.

Genuine asylum seekers aere, of course, welcome, but I make one legal point. Asylum seekers have to, according to the Geneva Convention, seek refuge in the first safe country tehy arrive in. Most immigrants arrive from Eastern Europe, having travelled through Austria, Germany, Holland, Belgium and France, all of which are in the EU and therefore safe. therefore, legally, they have no right to seek refuge here, and as such they should be turned away unless they can prove that their lives are in danger in continental Europe.

Read the UN laws if you want, but thats the truth. Asylum Seekers arriving directly here are welcome if they are in danger, but very few actually do.
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
something like that happens it is always seen as being teh whites' fault,
who said that? It is the fault of the economic deprivation in the area....
but the fact is that there is enough unemployment in this country without adding to it with a large influx of economic migrants.
have you heard of these phrases a) skills shortage b) low unemployment c)pension crisis d)free labour market ? Do they mean anything to you?
seek refuge in the first safe country tehy arrive in.
It was my impression that refugees from major crises were moved all around Europe in accordance with the ability of the country to look after them......

If the BNP got rid of some of their immigration policies then I would vote for them.
I like the idea of Britain becoming an independant but powerful nation in the world again.
If they ever did anything that would be prejudiced against race or sexuality then I wouldn't vote, but if they stuck to their policies then why shouldn't I vote?

The other parties are too concerned with what other countries think, BNP seem to be more concerned with what the people want, which can only be a good thing?
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
the people want
what you want don't you mean?

There policies are entirely idiotic, I don't even see how the fulfil your aim of making Britain "indepeandant and powerful" which is a stupid aim anyway
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
well, yeah, of course it's my opinion. That's sort of the point of a debate: if it was just the objective truth we'd all agree. One shouldn't have to preface every remark with 'in my opinion'...you certainly don't!

Seriously - which of their policies would you defend?
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
which of their policies would you defend
-high investment in the transport network
-ditto with the NHS
-they want to protect the environment

But every "proper" party has to have a policy on all the main issues so they are bound to have something decent, the fact is that they are still unelectable.....

As above but also:
increased defence spending
increased spending on the police and CJS
more discipline in schools
