something with a lot of bass to roar down the motorway with.

Chilli Peppers are pretty bassy.. I'm not really the person to talk about 'banging tunes' with.. my music taste is mostly loud and noisey guitars.. two bassy noise bands that i can think of would be Muse and Queens Of The Stoneage.. but i'm not sure if that's the sort of music you're after...

    eek

hmm, 'bass' but no dance... only thing that i know rattles the speakers of the car when i'm in it is Korn... see the 'issues' album, that certainly gets the car rockin'. a veritable wall of sound motherfuckers.

If you like Billy Jean, then Thriller has a good bass to it too.

    LEFTFIELD!

the bassiest stuff around. honestly. they got banned from brixton accedemy for making the walls crack, and setting off car alarms outside, purley from the bass!

    tunes include:
'a final hit' (from trainspotting OST),
    'afrika shox' (feat. afrika bambaataa),
'phat planet' (guiness advert, with horses in the waves),
    and 'dusted' (feat. roots manuva)

also, 'rage against the machine' and 'red hot chilli peppers' have two of the best bassists around. one is now in audioslave, but RATM is better driving music.

cypress hill have good bass. anything of 'temples of boom' or 'IV' would do.

and the prodigy is good to drive to. and if you will probably like the two latest massive attack albums, mezzanine and 100th window.
