Cos it's been hot weather and we live by the river we're getting millions of these buggers every night. They're attracted to light so we have to close the windows and vents and keep the lights off more than usual. Anyone else get these?

    Nope, around here we get gnats instead. :D

    Just be thankful you don't live in Scotland where they're supposed to have some of the most evil gnats and midges anywhere!

    My garden is like a swamp in winter an a desert in summer an its got a stream out the back. We've got worse, mosquitos. I hate them, they r big ones like 1cm body length:eek:

    What is the difference, I've always thought I was bitten by mosqiutos as some one said but I don't think they live up here.

    I think mosquito's are a lot bigger, gnats are very very small.
