Yup, not like the good old days where Ferguson could manage to whoop Real Madrid's ass, albeit with a clearly superior club :p

I could watch that Madrid team till again and again and again by the way

    MoK certainly didn't.

Myself, I didn't see it (don't get matches live over here) but I think I would have enjoyed it because, well, I hate rooting for the favorite.

It certainly shut up the Mank Utd fans who were up their own arses after pounding the mighty Reds with the help of Mike ( I love MUFC) Riley.

Justice has been served. Real style! ;)

    :crying: :crying:
I had the misfortune to be in the pub with the two scousers i had laughed at when we thrashed them. Everytime they (real) came near us (MU), the shouts of "Penalty, surely that must be a penalty, send him off ref!" erupted from them.

    I wasnt impressed.

And hey, atleast I still have the leeds fans to tease! :D;)
6-1 was just a figment of their imaginations, as was 1-0 Kewell '66.

Boy, what a game last night's was! Football at its best. As a Real fan I must say I'm happy Beckham didn't start up, although I believe Madrid would have still gone through. Still, a supreme effort by both teams and some excellent football.

Of course, a couple of years ago Fergie had the cheek to say Riley tried to get Man U to lose, purely for the fact he's from Leeds.

    Not so anymore...

I still have the 1-0 win against Man U as my desktop, a large picture of Harry Kewell heading the ball past a stranded french muppet (Barthez.)

Perhaps you could inform us the last 5 times an opposing team has won a penalty at Old Trafford...?
