I have just received a warning email that says at approx 12:45am there is going to be a mass destruction of all peoples internet connection. Apparently internet connection in the whole country is gonna be going down. If you need to send email or speak to anyone on MSN then do it NOW.

Just wanted to let you all know :)

    don't know who sent you the email but in sundays observer there was a report saying that since the war started there have been around 20,000 denial of service attacks on major web sites.
    it's being put down to peace protesters and angry arabs.
    in the guardian today i read that tommorow has been earmarked for a major e attack on isp's around lunch time. the govt reckon they know who is going to do it but they are scattered across the globe so can do nothing about it! i'm keeping mine switched off till afternoon. don't want my pc getting jaundice or anything.

    to answer both your question in order... no and yes. :D

    it's really not a problem, if they're gonna go after the ISPs then they'll just go offline... you won't be able to access the internet at all, but this is all highly unlikely... can be done, but would take some major organising.

    fuck it IS just like Hackers...... *runs off to get soundtrack* :rolleyes: :D

    I Disconnected a few mins b4 and reconnected just after,
    mainly cos Kiezo sed he was going to.
    The whole of the internet was going slow just b4, hmmmm.
