Slight increase in rebel vote

217 against Blair....just seen anti-war protesters waving their flags behind the BBC reporter...but why are the British so repectful to news broadcasts....why didn't they shout!!

If those people had waved their flags on US tv would they have got away with it?

    Dissapointing vote but not in the least bit unexpected.
    The increase of 18 votes doesnt bode well for the Labour Goverments future does it.

    A significant blow I feel, unfortuantely I think that once the war has finished they will all crawl back to the fold......
