Any bets on who the new manager will be?

I would love Mick McCarthy to be the new manager.

We're still going down though. Watch out first division!! :p

What you mean they've sacked the most exciting, cheerful, positive, attack minded manager in the world  :p

Yeah, McCarthy would be a good choice :)

Whoever they have will not save them, it is sad to see such a big club in such trouble, hope they don't go the way of Wednesday, Coventry or Derby.........

Best thing Leeds ever did almost, was get rid of Wilkinson!

I'm glad he's gone. Nothing can save them from relegation, but at least it stands us in good stead for next season!

Like Toadborg says, it is a shame to see them failing so badly, especially when they're such a huge team with such passion. :(

Meh, they need to look to the long term now.

Three managers in one season, relegation on the cards. Sounds familiar to a club i happen to support. ;)

Did he not win the league for you?

Seeing as Leeds haven't got very near to winning a major competition since (You were never really going to win the Champions league in 2000) that seems an odd statement....

Well you got McCarthy anyway! But your still going down- mwaaa-

I believe in consistency being the solid routes- Ferguson- Wenger etc:

Give Houiller time and if he doesn't croak before then we'll be back on top!

No disputing the fact we're going down so you can cut the evil laughing as if we actually think we'll stay up!!

And who are "we"? Which team do you support? Surely one in Ireland if that is where you're from....?

If not, I bet you go to all the games...

I don't think Wenger and Ferguson are good examples, if Wenger has got Arsenal relegated in his first season would they have stuck with him?

Last English manager to win the league.

Says something about the quality of English managers , doesn't it ??
