why is it that you are not allowed to take more than 2 paracetomol every 4 hours (apart from the fact that the box says it!)

    Paracetomol above dosage levels causes liver damage, and in extreme cases, death.

    In low doses it actualy very untoxic for a pain killer but in high doses it can really really mess with your liver, kidneys and all sorts of other things. That and I'm preaty sure it causes internal bleeding.

    You can kill yourself on it but its a very long lingering death, its fatal relatively quickly but you have to wait around feeling very grim for upwards of a week.
