The Pill

The Pill, which is used as a form of contraception, has many potential side effects. Although these vary from person to person, one side effect which I have witnessed with my girlfriend is unpredictably depressive moods; at one moment she may be happy, and the next in a mood. This is upsetting for both her and I, and regularly results in arguments. Nevertheless, it is important to remain strong, and to be as understanding and as sympathetic as possible.

If anyone is in this situation, I urge you to always be available to listen to their girlfriend, and to be patient, tolerant and considerate. It may be a difficult time, for both you and your girlfriend, but the side effects last only periodically, so it will get better and more normal.

has your girlfriend tried switching to a different brand of pill? because one of my friends used to get really depressed/have mood swings then she changed her brand and the symptoms stopped. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="smile">

I think the pill has a larger chance of doing somthing good than bad or damaging, but as i am not a lad, i cannot be of much assistance.

I worry that it wont work...
