What age do you think that we should start having sex? Late teens, early twenties or later?

See the problem with this, for me, is contraception. Condoms are only 98% safe, so out of every hundred that are made two are faulty. Knowing my luck - after not winning anything all my life - I would be one of these two <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">!
So I wouldn't have wanted my mum to have found out when I was under sixteen that i slept with someone and something went wrong and had a baby on the way, she would be <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/mad.gif"&gt; mad!!
So I would say that you should start at sixteen, but that is my opinion not everyones!

theres should b no time limit on when u have to loose ur virginity, i guess its when ur ready, and with the right person, but sayin that the, the right person bit dosnt always apply, well in my case anyway. i felt ready although i was scared, it wasnt with a stranger but i wasnt in a relationship with the lad, i wanted it that way, i lied about how many id slept with, which was obv none up 2 him, so as i wernt embarassed(he was the 'cool', ive shagged double figures type)it was casual so as if i were shit i could possibly never c him again, but sayin that he pestered me 4 months and my ex had 2 tell him where to stick it, blatently not near me!! i know both lads & girls who were ready 4 sex at 13 and did it, and those who r in there 20's and still virgins.
i sometimes whished id waited, but im kinda inqusitive so im glad i have,but i deny it 2 most people.
when i was a virgin i was proud of it, and every1 should b.
do it when ur ready, not when some1's ready 4 u.
also keep safe! contracertion is vital, as i suspect patters of tiny feet would b less than welcome,nore would a std, if u have sex u have 2 b brave enough to face the consequences.sex is a serious game.

I don't think that there should be a law about the age that you can have sex. I think that the government has no right of making a law since it is the individual's choice.

I agree with there being a law, being the 'illegal' element of underage sex does discourage teens to an extent [well, it discouraged me till my 15th birthday anyway!]

It's not a good thing to say right, you should be having sex at such and such an age because that's when everyone goes out and has a drunken shag to keep up with their mates, realises 9 months down the line that contraception would have been a good move.

Everyone over 16 should be able to stay a virgin for as long as they want to. Or you could do a Britney and not do it till you're married! LOL...100 years ago I'd ahve been stoned for putting an exclamation mark next to that <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif"&gt;

It's part of some peoples' values that you should wait for 'The One' I totally respect that. 99% of the time sex is better when you love the persom anyway!

I think that under 16 it should really be discouraged as most people that age just DON'T realise the consequences until it's too late. On saying that [and I know I'm not alone here] I would have lost my virginity to my ex-chappy at 15 even if the law said it was illegal till I was 40! It was right at the time, and more importantly, it was safe.

So if you really are gonna have it below 16, then please make sure you're using condoms AND the Pill, otherwise you could have two kids after just a hundred shots if the 98% sucess rate id scarily true! Arrgghh!!
