    The UCAS site says:

    university -
You cannot normally change your choice of university or college after we have received your form. But if there are exceptional reasons, such as a change in your family circumstances or any personal problems, you should ask your referee to write to us, explaining the situation and recommending that you are allowed to change.
If you have originally applied to less than six choices, you can add more, provided you have not replied to your offers. You must make any extra choices by 30 June 2003 (12 June 2003 for Route B art and design applications). If all choices are unsuccessful, you can make additional choices to a maximum of six.

    Course -
If you are happy with your choice of university or college but you want to change your choice of course, you should write to the university or college direct, not to us. If the college or university agrees, it will inform us about the change. If we have already sent you an offer for your original choice, we will change it and send you a new one.
