what really goes on inside a mens head? most women have no problems sharing their feelings, but on the other hand i find that MOST men cant. they never really tell you what they are thinking or feeling but they expect you to no, is this just me or had ne one else had the same problem?

I am a man (its official) and men usually just aren't the 'feeling-sharing' kind. It's not really an interessting topic of conversation for us, football is much better. It doesn't hurt to ask us about our feelings though, if you show an intrest in them we would probably tell you, we do have feelings y'know. Anyway, suposedly we think about sex every six seconds so we don't have that much time to think about much else.

Well I cant talk for all men so ill just talk about lil old me.

I dont think its a case of not being able to talk about our feelings its just more of a case of not feeling the need to. If my gf wants to talk about feelings ill be glad to but I wouldnt approach her to talk about them. Its just not an important thing to me.

We definately have all the same feelings but maybe we can control them better than girls.

And I always thought it was the men trying to guess what women thought!!

Men seem to be swayed less by their feelings than women.

There is a scientific explanation for this. Male brains are different to female brains, and certain parts of the language function of our minds are not as highly developed. Meaning that if a man does try and tell you his feelings it is very difficult for him to do so. Vice versa, women have a highly developed speech centre which means they are more able to talk about a much wider range of subjects and to put feelings into words.

Whowhere, thats complete bullshit, the brains of men and women are very simular with only minute differences in hypothalamic nucleus size (thought to influence aggresion levels). Also, generally, male brains are bigger (but only because we generally have bigger heads).

Well forgive me for pointing this out... I'm talking from my own view... but people of the opposite sex rarely talk about how they feel, in particular to one another. But yes I do agree the male population can't seem to talk about their feelings at all.
I try to talk about my feelings... but I can never seem to tell anyone in my family or any of my closest friends.
Oh I'm male if you haven't surmised as much.
