    I don’t know all the “Inns” and “Outs” of the purpose of a cock ring, but I thinks it main function is to keep the penis hard.

    I can’t be sure whether it helps you to last longer cos it restricts the blood flow to the penis.

    Ring goes on, blood stays in. Simple as that. I don't think they should be painful if they're not too tight, it'd just be like holding the base of the penis when wanking. Although I think you're only supposed to keep them on for 20 mins or something to keep the blood flowing.
    I think the piercing would be painful, however. Just a vague idea I get...

    in my mind it would go black and fall off. thats only my mind tho. like when you tie string around a finger it goes purple, then keps getting worse. i think the nerve endings die then the rest dies. quite gruesome actually..

    cock rings aren't as tight as tieing some string round your finger. The slow the blood flow rather than stop it, unless of course you're into that sort of thing... :eek:

    They do help guys with erection problems although you do have to be able to get hard to start with. I know quite a few gay guys who use them. helps with the firmness for longer I guess.
