hi,

i recieved a letter from University of Bristol about a week ago and they said they'd offer me a place and the grades will be sent to me by ucas.

i was just wondering if anyone knows when i will get the offer through from ucas, if it will be soon or months away?

thanks!
:)

It seems to be quite unpredictable actually. For all the offers you get, you'll get a letter from the uni, and a letter from UCAS. Usually, both letters have the conditonal grades on but obviously this wasn't the case with Bristol.
I've had all six of my offers and sometimes the uni letter came first, other times the UCAS letter came first. You should get the UCAS letter within a week, probably in a couple of days or something.
But it will definetely be on the UCAS website 'track your progress' thing as the offers go onto there before any letters are sent out. On the first UCAS letter you got should be your UCAS code and password which you'll need in order to do that. Hope that's helped :)

Why don't you try looking at the UCAS website? You can put your unique number (found on the top of letters from UCAS) into their system and a list of your offers will be shown.

Pink Soda's right - they definitely can be unpredictable.
Some of my Universities didn't print the conditions of the offer on the confirmation they sent me but this is always included on the UCAS Letter. One way or the other, they tell you in time - I usually for my Uni Letter or my UCAS letter long before the other.

All I have left is an interview at the University of Manchester next week :(
I really don't want to go!
