Condom Query? - I know this should go in sex but no one decent goes there :-)

Hi sorry i know this should go in sex, but i thought i would get a decent reply in 'proper english' here so mods you can move it if you have to.
Two nights ago me and my girlfriend had sex using durex extra safe condoms, we haven't used them ones before, and yesterday she conplained because she was itching most of the day but its stopped now (when i say itching i mean down there ) but this was about 14 hours after we had, had sex she had had a shower since.
I was wondering is it possible she is allergic to latex/spermicide on certain condoms or do you think its just a coincidence?
She said it has happend before (when not having sex) but not quite as irratating.
So what do you think i should do use the condoms again to see if it is them or whever it was a one off, get her to go doctors or use a cream or something if it happens again?
Any help would be much appricated <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Now for a semi sensible response:
Possibly, some men and women are allergic to spermicides or latex. Changing to a polyurethane condom or an anti-allergy brand often helps...
However it could be something else, such as an allergy to her washing powder or soap, or thrush

Get her to pop in to her local fpc if the problem persists.
