lol, no. I grew up in Southend on the Kursaal estate which is pretty pap. Then I only moved a few roads away and some robber dude climbed on one of my neighbours rooftop bits and looked in the window at their daughter and hid in the alley behind our house. He was peaking through our garden gate. *tuts*

Heh, there was once this lame thing on Sky One or something called 'Southenders'. It was all about the druggies and hooligans in Southend. Great. :p

Looky though, pretty picture of the seafront.

I loved the Kursaal estate. Dunno why cos it was manky. I used to randomly go to the beach and to that Never Never Land thingy and waste all my money in the arcades. Fun. :) Oh and I'd go to the Royals at Christmas and then wander and blow my money in Woolworths for some reason. I remember when they hadn't repaired the actual Kursaal thing and it looked so shitty and then I came back to Southend and it had been repaired and stuff and looked so pretty.

There was this thing near Porters Grange school where you had to go down loads of stairs and there was some empty building and me and my mates would always convince ourselves there was blood on the wall and run away. We were wimpy shites. :)

Why am I saying all this? *shuts up*

No its cool...and it makes my post longer :D lol!

I ALWAYS love it down town at christmas with all the lights, decorations in the royals and i always end up wasting money at woolworths, and all them gadgedty things there are in BHS...only at christmas though!

Yeah, having the Kursaal rebuilt was great, looks alot better, and the sea-fronts great at night too with all the lights and everything - Like in the picture you put on here!

We only go back about twice a year. *sob* I'm going to be there on Christmas day and Boxing day I think.
Peter Pan's is the big park bit with all the rides isn't it? Peter Pan's Adventure Playground or something? Cos I used to go there when I was little and that Barracuda thing terrified me. And then they have the water one too and then over the road on the grassy bit is the Never Never Land bit? Blah, I dunno. My memory is shite. lol.

I love Southend at Christmas. :)
