Plan to remain childless?

I am curious how many of you don't plan to have children, and what effect such plans have had on your ability to find partners. I have read more and more couples are deciding not to have children but it is still a small minority of couples, and I would assume it makes it harder to find a partner. At what point in the dating game do you mention this intention? Or do you just let it be generally known to everyone, so people know in advance that is your "orientation"?

joe, i think maybe u've missed to demographics of this board...most of hte guys and gals are between 14 and 18, and childbirth i imagine isn't something many people give serious thought to, certain planning it seriously i wouldn't've thought to happen.

i think a lot of hte questions ur asking, ur expecting replies aimed at adults, which we're not.

keep asking, just dont expect so much of us. we're only ickle kiddie <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">

If there's anything more important than my ego around here, i want it caught and shot now

I think you're right. Oops. I found this forum from a web search and did not come in from the front page. That explains a lot. Oh well. Sorry about that.

I for one definitely want kids.....I'm don't want them just yet but definitely want them. Maybe late 20's, i don't want to be a really old mum!! I can't understand how people couldn't want children, you must want to start your own family at one point in your life.
