Well, real-life sex is definitely more down-to-earth than the stuff shown in the movies.
One of the greatest lies is 'smooth' and 'comfortable' sex on the beach. Come on now! The setting might be romantic but most often it's too messy ('cos sand is everywhere), too cold (if you do it near the water) and the ground is too hard. In addition, there is always someone (e.g. tourists, an early runner, dustmen or just an occasional wanker) who will show up at the wrong moment and spoil it all.

Anele, you are right. The beach is not comfortable and sand gets everywhere! But still, I have had some of the best sex on the beach - even with the occasional intruder stumbling into the scene!

It is all about the right company and the right atmosphere, and on the latter the beach definitely scores: as you said: it is romantic!
