Sore Foreskin....

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Hi there, ive had this prob for about 3 wks now, it isn't getting any worse, but is getting better veeeerrrry slowly.

My foreskin, is kinda swollen when i pull it back, and to begn with, there was little like 'ulcers' which i just 'brushed' off - and now it is like a series of cuts......

it is not painful to do the toilet, nor is there any discharge.....

there is also, 'chapped' like skin, round the tip of the outer foreskin.

Im not going to get it checked out, although its the best thing to do - so is there anything i can do, i occasionaly use saltwater, but it stings like f!*k.

regards,

    GO TO THE DOC's!!!

Cos there are some std's that dont look serious , even appear to clear up on there own! BUT come back a few months later with avengence!!

Get it checked now, or you could be in for a NASTY SHOCK

    Ibbow is right.

Blisters that disappear after a few days to leave sore skin could be Genital Herpes.

Best advice if you do not want to visit your GP is to visit your local GUM clinic where you can remain completely annonymous. They are extremely professional and you will NOT be embarrassed.

    Good Luck

Get down to the doctor today. (Or go to GUM if you are worried about any implications for insurance )

Ibbow is right - get it checked out.

get to the doc's like they say.
If you can't, or want to talk to someone about it first, ring the NHS Direct on 0845 4647. They're fully trained nurses and they can tell you what to do.
But really, you gotta see the doc aswell.

This probably should have been posted under the Health section ...

I would say "stop being a wally" by being too shy to see your doc about this 'cos it's your willy. You'd go to him if you had ulcers elsewhere, wouldn't you???!

Well, ring your doctors up, and make an appointment. When the receptionist asks what the problem is just say it is of a personal nature, she'll get what you mean. Then goto the doctors, drop your pants and let him examine you.

i was thinkin more of the gum clinic, what do i do, what will it be like, in what way will it be less embarrasing etc...

also - its under the foreskin, the last thing i want is to get it out for examination, or whatever i do, and i go hard...........

and when is least busiest at the gum clinic.
