My ex.....

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Hi everyone, I recently recieved an e-mail from my ex-girlfriend telling me I may have Chlymidia. We broke up in October and that was the last time we made love, so is it possible to have contracted it, as we had used a condom every time but she gave me head without one and I went down on her, and she was my first g/f ever, so is it possible I have caught this STI from her?
I am so worried becuase I have a new g/f now and I haven't made love to her yet, and I don't want to make love to her and find out ive given her something. is it true the doc will stick a cotton bud down my "eye" to test for the infection, or will he give me a cuase of antibiotics?

Please I seriously need help here <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

I don't know much about chlamydia but I found this page for on here in case you hadn't already seen it.

Although it's more common for it to be contracted through unprotected sex, you could have got it when you went down on her. Get it checked out by the doctor, it's quite serious if you have it and don't get treatment.

Think of it in this way, men can carry it and it will do nothing harmful to them but if you give it to your girlfriend it means she may become steril if she doesn't get it cured, so basiclly get it sorted quickly....then you done have to tell your new girlfriend coz you take antibiotics for a week, she needn't know (less embarrasement). It's not your fault just go to your docs and see what they have to say!! You don't have to tell anyone and just tell your mates that your taking Antibiotics coz you've hurt your arm...

That's not true! It can cause sterility and other problems in males as well as females....

Don't be embarrassed dazed, the doctors have seen it all before (10% of sexually active young people in the UK have chlamydia). If you're worried about what they'll think of you they actually see you as more mature for coming and speaking about a possible problem rather than anything else.

And like Kat says you don't need to tell anyone else, although if you find you do have it, you should tell your girlfriend if you've been giving each other head, because she might have caught it too.
