I'm planning on a baking day, maybe Wednesday as I have the afternoon off college but need ideas on what to bake. So wondered what everyone's favourite cakes are?? 😜

    It's not strictly a cake, but I always really like a good lemon meringue pie. And I'm also a sucker for peanut butter :)

    You should make some children in need cupcakes!!:D Do pudsey bear on top:P Or even the colours dots of pudsey bear:P
    Make them diff flavoured too! Like a vanilla and a chocolate one!:D Also I do like a bit of chocolate orange XD that's cool:P

    I love baking myself although I'm not that great at it :P
    I have loads of baking books like with cupcakes, big cakes, biscuits and all sorts in!:D Some of them are Mary Berry books and you can pick them up quite cheap! I'd recommend checking her books out:) They're pretty cool and easy to follow!

    Cheesecake, or cheesecake bites. Victoria Sponge always amazing. Banoffee pie - ok not a cake, but it's incredible.

    Whenever im in the mood for baking i always scones or cheesy scones!! Cant go wrong with lil fairy cakes though, marbled with half plain and half chocolate mix or lemon drizzle cake. I need a baking session!

    I know this person that is actually addicted to the cheese scones you can get from cooplands. Haha. Every time we go in town she has to go in to get one... Or two haha

    I ate Sacher cake for the first time this weekend - was lush! :heart:

    Not sure I've ever eaten Mozart.

    I'm a big fan of the fondant :yum:

    Ooh i do love a good lemon, white chocolate and raspberry cake. or if we go for a savoury cake i like tomato, basil, mozerella and pesto :D

    Nigel Slater makes the most delicious lemon drizzle cake with thyme, and it also is a great pleasure to watch him making it as this splendid BBC video shows. :yum:
