Settling back into school/college: have your friendships changed?

After every summer holiday in my life, I've either been able to settle back into easy friendships with some friends (as if no time has passed), grown closer to some or have really drifted away from others.

Has anybody else gone through that too? Maybe you've gone on holiday and it seems like you missed out on a lot? Or maybe over the summer you've met up with some people more than others?

    I've only got a small net of friends in college so I always worry that I'm not going to fit back into the group after summer but I more or less do every year. I go back tomorrow so we shall see! :)

    Good luck for tomorrow Becki! :thumb: It's interesting that you say you have a tighter group of friends at college. Do you think having a small net of friends makes it a lot easier to fit back into the group after summer?
