Hi All,

I am a student nurse, interested in finding out more about children and young people (aged under 18) who self harm. If you have been admitted to hospital in the past because of self-harming injuries, to either Accident and Emergency or a children's ward, please let me know how you felt about your time in hospital.

Things you may like to mention, but is not limited to:
- How did the nursing staff and other healthcare staff who were looking after you make you feel? Good/bad/neither?
- Was there anything that could have improved your stay in hospital?
- Was your experience in hospital positive, negative or neither? Why was this?
- What help did the doctors and nurses give you?
- What sort of interventions helped you to manage your self-harm whilst in hospital, if at all?
- What is helpful or unhelpful with regards to your self-harm whilst you were in hospital?
- How did a nurse or healthcare staff member who was looking after you show they were caring?

Please feel free to include any other aspects of your time in hospital that you feel may be relevant.

All replies will be kept confidential.

Many thanks,
Georgie :)
