Hello everybody! :wave:
We've been having a think at TheSite towers about ways to improve the boards.
We love Post of the Month, as it recognises amazing individual posts that people have made. But! We realised that sometimes a whole thread is amazing; good advice, lively debate, giggle fodder etc. isn't always quotable, and at the moment, there's no way to recognise an amazing thread. So, being a proactive lot, we've decided to rectify this situation and so are introducing a:
Thread of the Month competition!!

This works in exactly the same way as Post of the Month (which is continuing as normal), but instead of nominating an individual post, you can nominate a whole thread!
For those of you totally confused by this whole post, let me zoom out a bit.
At the end of every month, we vote for our favourite post (and now thread) from that month (here's July's vote). The posts and threads that are voted on have all been nominated over the course of the month. To nominate a thread or a post for the vote, do the following:
1. Click 'Nominate' on the post you want to nominate or any post in the thread you want to nominate:
2. Type 'POTM' for Post of the Month or 'TOTM' for Thread of the Month. Then click send report or nomination.
Simple as that
So, if you see a post or a thread that makes you smile, think, laugh, cry, go 'aww' or is just generally amazing, nominate it!
