How to stick with an creative activity, and not get bored.

Hey guys.

I am really unsure how to word this so yeah...

I recently went a brought a wreck this journal, and when I started I really got into it but soon lost motivation, I do this quite often with things. I am not a very creative person, but I wanted to change that. I don't know whether it's just a case of things don't interest me. I know my interests but to try and find something creative to do with my interests is hard.

People have told me that having a creative outlet is good, cos it could be a great distraction when you feel down. This is another reason why I want to get into something.

I don't know what to try.

I hope this thread makes some sense.

Thanks

" So I say thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing, thanks for all the joy they're bringing, who can live without it, I ask in all honestly what would life be? Without a song or a dance, what are we? So I say thank you for the music, for giving it to me "

I don't own a wreck journal but i can be the same and i'm a art student. It's hard when other things are on your mind . I find it hard to just dive into an activity so what i try and do is make sure i'm working in a clear space and most important take breaks every 30 mins or hour. Self motivation is hard too, but the end achievement at the end is worth it . hope this has helped somehow and good luck with future projects :)!
